Bill serves as Chief Investment Strategist for Arlington. In his role, he oversees asset allocation strategy and portfolio management. He also performs due diligence on traditional and alternative investment managers, as well as ongoing manager monitoring. Bill chairs the Valuations Committee, in addition to sitting on the Investment Committee.
He received his undergraduate degree in Finance from the University of Colorado and his MBA from Indiana University. Bill has over twenty-four years of traditional and alternative investment management experience including five years as Chief Investment Officer for McDonald Investment Company, a single family office. Prior experience includes over six years in New York managing numerous mergers & acquisitions transactions for Hanson PLC. Additionally, he spent over four years as a Corporate Finance professional for Price Waterhouse in Los Angeles.
He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), a member of the Investment Committee for the United Way of Central Alabama and a member of the board for Grace House Ministries. Bill is married and a devoted father to his five children.
